Tampere, Finland, April 26th 2017 – Tesla vs Lovecraft, the latest game by Crimsonland and Neon Chrome creator 10tons Ltd., is now up for voting on Steam Greenlight. Slated for Q3 2017 release, the game pits the famed inventor Nikola Tesla against the unimaginable monsters of horror author H.P. Lovecraft in a goal based top-down arena shooter.
“Tesla vs Lovecraft is shaping up great! The theme of the game is very catchy, and it’s thoroughly entertaining to lay waste to so many eldritch monsters.” says Tero Alatalo, CEO of 10tons.
Tesla vs Lovecraft is a top-down twin stick shooter. The game is based on completing goal based levels, for example destroying all monster spawning Cthulhu statues. The game’s highlight features are Quantum Teleportation, which allows the player to warp short distances even through solid objects, and the Tesla-Mech, which provides the player an immense boost to firepower for a limited time. Genre hallmarks such as a large arsenal of weapons, a multitude of player empowering perks, monster crushing powerups, and secondary weapon abilities are also included.
Features:
- Tesla-Mech, an immensely powerful machine of war at your disposal. Mow down your opponents with twin-mounted Tesla-Miniguns, and trample over monsters like they were ants.
- Lovecraftian horrors: If nightmares had nightmares, this is what they’d look like. Monsters so horrible they’ll make you eat up your own sanity!
- Save the world with a plethora of inventions and gadgets, including (but not limited to) X-Ray Blade and Death Ray Gun.
- Quantum Teleportation, packed neatly into one handy portable backpack. (Includes a warning label about Theseus-paradox, whatever that is)
