Kill to Slow Time as Time Recoil Grabs IndieDB Top-10 Spot and Takes on Steam Greenlight

Apr 4, 2017

Tampere, Finland, April 4th 2017 – The slow motion top-down shooter Time Recoil, the next game from the independent game developer 10tons Ltd, is now in Steam Greenlight. The game is currently in the top-10 on the leading indie game community website IndieDB’s ranking.

“Time Recoil is gaining traction! The game’s core mechanic ‘kill to slow time’ works great and doubles perfectly as the game’s tagline. Testers are loving the alpha version and the Top-10 spot in IndieDB is another great indicator that the game will do great on Steam Greenlight.” says Sampo Töyssy, Vice CEO of 10tons Ltd. and Time Recoil team lead.

Time Recoil is a top-down slow motion shooter by 10tons, the creators of Crimsonland and Neon Chrome. In Time Recoil you’ll kill to slow time, witness top-down Hollywood-style slow motion gunfights, trigger devastating special moves, and travel in time via wormholes!

Features:

  • Kill to slow time. Subsequent kills extend the slowdown duration and grant special moves.
  • Devastating special moves. Starting with Dash to bust through walls and enemies, special moves grow to spectacular levels the more you kill.
  • Kill Mr. Time. You are a member of a rebel organization aiming to kill Mr. Time, a mad scientist dictator with a time based weapon of mass destruction. You must stop him in the past or you will lose the future.
  • Travel through time. The Time Machine at the rebel base will take you to the past via a wormhole. Mission goals range from assassination to rescuing scientists. Expect the unexpected along the way…
