Tampere, Finland, August 23rd 2012 – Finnish game developer 10tons Ltd. has launched Joining Hands, a family friendly puzzle game, for the upcoming Windows 8 operating system. The game is available on the Windows Store immediately for 2,99 USD.
”Releasing Joining Hands five weeks before the official Windows 8 launch is a nice start for our journey with the new operating system.” commented Sampo Töyssy, Vice CEO of 10tons.” We expect to have several titles on the Windows Store when Windows 8 becomes widely available. We will also support the upcoming ARM-based tablets like the Microsoft Surface.” Sampo continues.
Joining Hands is an elegantly minimalistic and captivating puzzle game. The family friendly game features Peablins, adorable creatures the player must place on the game board in a way that each Peablins’ hands are held by another Peablin.
The game was featured in USA Today’s “Puzzles to help expand kids’ minds” article in May: “With a simple premise of leaving no hand untouched, this game gradually increases in difficulty while never losing its undeniable charm.”
